Solas means "light" in Gaelic. We believe in passing the light and illuminating new paths forward.  We are a group of women who naturally inspire other women. Sometimes intentionally, sometimes by just being ourselves. This forum is a modern nod to the salon gatherings in Italy and France from the 16th through 18th centuries.  In these gatherings we bring societal issues to the forefront for exchange of ideas, debate, solutions and action, with proceeds of events benefiting Domestic Violence victims.
